Kenneth Copeland is another one that makes merchandise out of
God's people. We have many articles and writings to post about this ministry so
that you may decide for yourself. The ignorance of the doctrine taught by this
ministry only vaguely represents the true word of God. There is a tendency today
for people to want the blessings of God without obeying the true word of God.
Prosperity and greed are the highlights of this ministry. These
pastors are the merchants that it speaks of in Revelation that use sorcery and
their followers is their merchandise. (Rev 18:23 KJV) And the light of a
candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and
of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy
merchants were the great men of the
earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
Biblical Discernment Ministries, 1996 stated:
"Word-Faith teachers owe their ancestry to groups like Christian Science,
Swedenborgianism, Theosophy, Science of Mind, and New Thought--not to classical
Pentecostalism. It reveals that at their very core, Word-Faith teachings are
corrupt. Their undeniable derivation is cultish, not Christian. The sad truth is
that the gospel proclaimed by the Word-Faith movement is not the gospel of the
New Testament. Word-Faith doctrine is a mongrel system, a blend of mysticism,
dualism, and Gnosticism that borrows generously from the teachings of the
metaphysical cults. The Word-Faith movement may be the most dangerous false
system that has grown out of the charismatic movement so far, because so many
charismatic are unsure of the finality of Scripture (Charismatic Chaos , p.
290)."
Statements by Kenneth Copeland:
1998
Kenneth Copeland said: "[Adam] was the copy, looked just like [God]. If you
stood Adam upside God, they look exactly alike. If you stood Jesus and Adam side
by side, they would look and sound exactly alike."
Together Ministries, 1998
Kenneth Copeland said: ""We are going to agree together tonight that God's will
be carried out. And that whosoever is elected as president of the
United States and whomsoever is elected in the congress of the United States,
WILL HEAR AND OBEY THE VOICE OF GOD ALMIGHTY FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS IN THIS
NATION." He made this statement "into God's ears" in
Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 18, 1996 at a Word of life Church service after
saying misapplying the following Scripture "Again I say unto you, That if two of
you shall AGREE on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask,
IT SHALL BE DONE for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where
TWO
OR THREE are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of
them."
Paw Creek Ministries, 1999
Listen to Kenneth Copeland as he describes his false concept about his New
Age god. "People have even argued about whether God is male or female. But
the Bible itself tells us that He’s both! That’s right. In the Hebrew
language, all words have gender. They’re either male or female. But the
Hebrew word ‘Jehovah’ is both masculine and feminine. He’s as much female as
He is male and as much male as He is female."
"False prophet extraordinaire Kenneth
Copeland, in a dedication service on 12/02/01 for the new 2000 seat Word of
Life church auditorium in Honolulu, predicted that one billion Muslims
would be saved in the next few months. Audio and exact transcript will
soon be available in this article so you can hear it for yourself. This
false prediction tops all his previous false prophecy records."
Kenneth Copeland, Dallas. TX,
printed in Copeland's Voice of Victory Magazine, Vol.15., No., 1987
Kenneth Copeland delivered the following
prophecy during a three day victory campaign held in Dallas Texas. It is
reproduced in the Voice of Victory 20th Anniversary of his ministry. Found
on Page 9, he claims his prophecy came from Jesus Christ, Copeland says,
"You remember in my word I said to my disciples this kind comes not out
by prayer and fasting." He's talking now about the power of prayer. He goes
on "Don't be disturbed (this is Jesus) when people accuse you of being God.
The more you get to be like me God. But I didn't claim I was God; I
just claimed I walked with Him and that He was in Me. Hallelujah."
Substitution and Identification,
1989, tape #00-0202, side 2
“The Spirit of God spoke to me and He
said, ‘Son, realize this. Now follow me in this and don't let your tradition
trip you up.’ He said, ‘Think this way—a twice-born man whipped Satan in
his own domain.’ And I threw my Bible down … like that. I said, ‘What?’
He said, ‘A born-again man defeated Satan, the firstborn of many
brethren defeated him.’ He said, ‘You are the very image, the very copy of
that one.’ I said, ‘Well now you don't mean, you couldn't dare mean, that I
could have done the same thing?’ He said, ‘Oh yeah,
if you'd had the knowledge of the Word of God that He did,
you could've done the same thing, ‘cause you're a reborn man
too.
