What Reign Are We Reigning In

There are many theologians that teach about a 1000-year period of time that Jesus will reign here on earth. They refer to this period of time as the Millennium Reign. This teaching concerning a future reign is definitely taught by the vast majority of theologians. It seems according to these theologians that during this Millennium Reign these are events that will take place.

 

1. The Kingdom of God is to come

 

Fact:

(Mat 12:28 KJV) But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

 

(Luke 17:21 KJV) Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

 

2. Jesus is King of kings

 

Fact:

(1 Tim 1:17 KJV) Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

 

3. Jesus will rule over Jerusalem and the whole earth

 

Fact:

(Mat 28: 18 KJV) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

 

4. We will reign with Jesus

 

Fact:

(Luke 10: 19 KJV) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 

5. Righteousness will rule

 

Fact:

(John 16:7 KJV) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. (John 16:8 KJV) And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

 

(1 Tim 3:5 KJV) (For if a man know not how to rule his ownhouse, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

 

6. Sin will be done away

 

Fact:

(1 John 3:9 KJV) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

 

7. Armageddon a battle of carnal weapons will be won by Jesus Christ

 

Fact:

(2 Cor 10:4 KJV) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
 

Even some of the theologians that teach the seventieth week of Daniel has been fulfilled teach a two thousand year gap or more is between the coming of Messiah, and the great tribulation period. Following the great tribulation period there will be the Millennium Reign. If the seventieth week of Daniel has been fulfilled then the time of trouble on the natural nation of Israel, spoken of by Daniel, which Israel will suffer, as a nation has to be fulfilled also.

 

If the Kingdom of God is to come, which Kingdom of God was it that Jesus stated had come? We must decide if there is more than one Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is in this world but is not of it. The kingdom of God is made up of the saints that are in this world. Does it say anywhere in the word of God that the Kingdom of God will come to this earth twice.

 

(Mat 12:28 KJV) But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the KINGDOM OF GOD IS COME UNTO YOU.

 

The disciples where to pray when the Kingdom of God came that God's will would be done on earth as it was in heaven.

 

(Mat 6:10 KJV) Thy kingdom come Thy WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, as it is in heaven.

 

God's will is being done in the saints of God here on earth and evil is absent in God's Kingdom. On the day of Pentecost the Third Temple, Body of Christ Jesus, or Kingdom of God here on earth was filled with the Holy Ghost. The collective body of the Son of God was anointed again to have dominion over the powers of Satan here one earth.

 

(Mark 16:17 KJV) And these SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE; In my name SHALL THEY CAST OUT DEVILS; they shall SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES; (Mark 16:18 KJV) They shall TAKE UP SERPENTS; and if they DRINK any DEADLY THING, it SHALL NOT HURT THEM; they shall LAY HANDS ON THE SICK, and they SHALL RECOVER.

 

We have been given dominion, which means power or authority. We have dominion over sin, dominion over the grave, and dominion over the carnal mind, which is death. We have been given dominion over all powers of evil.

 

The Assembly of God became a separated nation from the nations of this world. This heavenly nation on earth is in the world but not a nation of this world. The natural nation of Israel is a nation in this world and is of this world. It is not blessed and is not the Israel of God.

 

Anyone can be a natural Jew through circumcision and conversion to their religion. No one can be a spiritual Jew, true Israel, or of the body of Jesus Christ unless they have the Holy Ghost. Anyone can fool people according to the flesh but no one can fool Jesus Christ according to the spirit. Only members that are born again through the spirit of Christ can belong to the Kingdom of God, which is still here on earth.

 

A king must have a people that will accept him and allow him to rule before he can be king. The people of Israel rejected God as their king when they decided to have a natural king as the nations that were around them had.

 

(1 Sam 8:6 KJV) But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, GIVE US A KING TO JUDGE US. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.

 

(1 Sam 8:7 KJV) And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for THEY HAVE NOT REJECTED THEE, but THEY HAVE REJECTED ME, that I should not reign over them.

 

God is long suffering so time and time again he sent prophets unto Israel his vineyard but they rejected them.

 

(Mat 23:37 KJV) 0 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that KILLEST THE PROPHETS, and STONEST THEM WHICH ARE SENT UNTO THEE, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

 

Finally God sent his son the Messiah into the vineyard and they killed him.

 

(Mat 21:37 KJV) But last of all HE SENT UNTO THEM HIS SON, saying, They WILL REVERENCE MY SON. (Mat 21:38 KJV) But when the HUSBANDMEN SAW THE SON they said among themselves, This is the HEIR; come, LET US KILL HIM, and LET US SEIZE ON HIS INHERITANCE.

 

The natural nation of Israel, their religious leaders, killed Jesus their natural king and the rightful heir to the throne of David through the flesh. Yet the true Jews or Israel of faith accepted Jesus as their King on the day of Pentecost. Salvation still came through the Jews and they are to be loved greatly. Jesus Christ is the head, leader, or King of the church or true Israel. Jesus has ruled, rules, and will continue to rule New Jerusalem until this world is totally destroyed. Jerusalem, after the flesh, is the mother of antichrist. Jerusalem that is above, after the spirit, is the mother of the body of Christ or us.

 

(Gal 4:25 KJV) For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to JERUSALEM WHICH NOW IS, and is in BONDAGE WITH HER CHILDREN. (Gal 4:26 KJV) But JERUSALEM WHICH IS ABOVE IS FREE, which is THE MOTHER OF US ALL.

(Mat 12:48 KJV) But he answered and said unto him that told him, WHO IS MY MOTHER? and who are my brethren? (Mat 12:49 KJV) And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, BEHOLD MY MOTHER and my brethren! (Mat 12:50 KJV) For WHOSOEVER SHALL DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in heaven, the same is my BROTHER, and SISTER, and MOTHER.

 

Jesus is alive, well, and ruling in the Kingdom of God today. The Kingdom of God that is on this earth will come to an end and be delivered unto the Lord by the collective body of Christ or the Son of God and God will become all in all.

 

(1 Cor 15:24 KJV) Then COMETH THE END, when he shall have DELIVERED UP THE KINGDOM TO GOD, even the FATHER; when HE SHALL HAVE PUT DOWN all RULE and ALL AUTHORITY and POWER. (1 Cor 15:25 KJV) For HE MUST REIGN, till he HATH PUT ALL ENEMIES UNDER HIS FEET. (1 Cor 15:26 KJV) The LAST ENEMY that shall be DESTROYED IS DEATH. (1 Cor 15:27 KJV) For HE HATH PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIM. (1 Cor 15:28 KJV) And when ALL THINGS SHALL BE SUBDUED unto him, then shall the SON ALSO HIMSELF BE SUBJECT unto him that PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIM, that GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL.

 

In verse twenty-five it states Jesus must reign until all enemies are placed under his feet here on earth. Jesus sits on the throne, in his assembly, church, or body ruling. All authority has been given to him bodily, church, Son of God, or Israel of God. Jesus rules because his body rules as the Son of God, which are many members but one body.

 

(Luke 10:19 KJV) Behold, I give unto YOU POWER TO TREAD ON SERPENTS and SCORPIONS, and OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 

This rule of the Son of God here on earth will come to an end; The Son-ship will be ended and all will become one with God through all of eternity. This is the mystery of the oneness of God. In Christ Jesus the fullness of the Godhead dwells in him bodily, which is the body of the church or us the kings and priest that are ruling now in the millennium reign! The power of the Holy Ghost reigns through us.

 

(Col 1:18 KJV) And he is the HEAD OF THE BODY, the CHURCH: who is the BEGINNING, the FIRSTBORN FROM THE DEAD; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

 

Jesus as stated above is the head of the body or church, which is the beginning. Jesus Christ was the first from the dead but you cannot separate the head from the body because they are one. This means that the church, which was from the beginning, is also the firstborn from the dead. (Col2:9 KJV) For in him dwelleth ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY.

 

Jesus is ruling through the fullness of his body. All of the fullness of the spirit dwells in his body, which has all the power of God or the spirit, which is the Holy Ghost. The body of Christ Jesus has been anointed with all power over the enemy and we have power over death, hell, and the grave. When we endure until the end we have power over the last enemy, which is death.

 

When the whole collective body has overcome this world then it is finished although Christ Jesus finished it at the cross as the head of the body.

 

(Eph 1:22 KJV) And hath put ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET, and gave him to be the HEAD OVER ALL THINGS TO THE CHURCH.

 

Here we read all things are under the feet of Jesus and we read in Luke chapter ten that Jesus gave us all power to tread the powers of Satan under our feet. We are the feet of Jesus because we are his body. Again there is no division in the true body of Jesus Christ or denominations. There is only one spirit that dwells in one body, which is the Kingdom of God or Son of God.

 

The verse above plainly states that Jesus is the head of the church but the following verse plainly states that we are the fullness of God bodily.

 

(Eph 1:23 KJV) Which is HIS BODY, the FULLNESS OF HIM that FILLETH ALL IN ALL.

 

If all of the fullness dwells in Jesus bodily and we are his body and his fullness then all of the fullness of God is in the Kingdom of God, which is reigning now. He must reign through us until the end. This reign is a past, present, and future day reign until the end. The time period of just a future thousand-year millennium reign only exist in the minds of dispensationalist.

 

(Eph 2:6 KJV) And hath RAISED US UP TOGETHER, and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES in Christ Jesus:

 

No one can deny that we collectively sit as one body in heavenly places. We must ask the questions is there a purpose for us sitting in heavenly places and what is this purpose? Is it to rule now or not? I believe that it is just for this purpose that we sit on the throne in Christ Jesus.

 

(Eph 3:9 KJV) And to make all men see what is the FELLOWSHIP OF THE MYSTERY, which FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD hath been hid in God, who created ALL THINGS BY JESUS CHRIST:

 

I will not discuss this now but the creation of the garden of God is still taking place. We have entered into the eternal day of rest but the end of the earthly Kingdom of God is going to end. Jesus Christ is still creating the garden or city through us.

 

(Rev 2:7 KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I GIVE TO EAT OF THE TREE OF LIFE, which IS IN THE MIDST OF THE PARADISE OF GOD.

 

(Rev 22:14 KJV) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE, and may ENTER IN THROUGH THE GATES INTO THE CITY.

 

(Eph 3:lO KJV) To THE INTENT THAT NOW unto the principalities and powers IN HEAVENLY PLACES MIGHT BE KNOWN BY THE CHURCH the manifold wisdom of God. I know the power that rules now in heavenly places, which is the Kingdom of God. What does the Kingdom of God rule over? Sin has ended for all saints and there is no sin within the body or Kingdom of God.

 

(1 John 3:s KJV) And ye know that he was MANIFESTED TO TAKE AWAY OUR SINS; and IN HIM IS NO SIN.

 

The woman is still bringing forth the male child that is the Kingdom of God or his body. This New Jerusalem or city of God consists of lively stones. It is a temple or city that is made without hands.

 

I want this article to be short and directly to the point! Has the Kingdom of God come? Are we the fullness of him? Everyone knows we are kings and priest that are sitting in heavenly places ruling with him. If we are reigning with him now and sitting in heavenly places now then what reign are we reigning in?
