The Two Olive Trees of the Book of Revelation

There are a lot of people trying to figure out who the two olive trees or the two witnesses of Revelation are that have been designated. As usual most are approaching this issue with the understanding of the carnal mind. It is essential that saints be lead by the spirit through the recorded word so that these issues can be understood. We are built upon the Prophets and the Apostles. You will find it is the scriptures of the true Israel of God, THE CHURCH, that testify of Jesus.
The new testament saints had to have a record that would prove itself true concerning the coming of the Messiah. This is why Jesus encouraged that all seek the testimony of the Prophets. It was their testimony that foretold, with accuracy, of his being the Messiah. (John 5:39 KJV) SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which TESTIFY OF ME. When Jesus made this statement, the scriptures of the old saints were all that existed.
The prophecy of the coming of the Messiah was written by numerous saints of old. David in the nineteenth Psalm guarantees all that the word, testimony of the Lord, will go unto the ends of the world. (Psa 19:4 KJV) Their LINE IS GONE OUT THROUGH ALL THE EARTH, and their WORDS TO THE END OF THE WORLD. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun. David states that heaven and earth are a witness that the word has gone forth and will always remain.
Paul also states that the word of God has gone into all of the world. All have heard the words of the saints of old. These words have gone into all of the earth as a witness unto the glory of God. (Rom 10:18 KJV) But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, THEIR SOUND WENT INTO ALL THE EARTH, and THEIR WORDS UNTO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD. Sounds to me the pure word has been preserved until the ends of the world from the beginning.
The spoken word that was spoken in the beginning is being fulfilled continually. The church, the lamb (CHRIST) that was slain, and the redemption of man was from the foundations of the world. God put his plan in order knowing that man would fall because they were created subject unto vanity. (Rom 8:20 KJV) For the CREATURE WAS MADE SUBJECT TO VANITY, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope.
All of the Apostles in the New Testament used the words of the Prophets. Their words prove to all of us that Jesus is Messiah. How important it is that all gospel concerning the Messiah be line upon line. Only through the word can it be proven that Jesus is Messiah. There is only one doctrine of the true Israel of God. (Gal 1:8 KJV) But though WE, OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN, PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Without the recorded word of God we would not know the pure Apostolic gospel of the Apostles. We would not know that Jesus was the Savior and Messiah. We would not know that Jesus Christ alone was the one that had the power to redeem all of mankind back to God. This is why God kept the true Apostolic doctrine pure.
We all need to know the true doctrine of the prophets, and the Apostles. We have received this pure Apostolic doctrine and hold to it through the pure recorded word of God. This is our teachings, our hope, and our faith. We the true Israel of God are built and founded upon the recorded word of the Apostles and Prophets. The gentiles being born again and grafted into the precious body of Jesus becoming the one Israel of God. This is done through the blood of our savior.
The words that God speaks today never goes against the recorded word. The word will never be of any private interpretation. This is absolutely necessary and essential to know. (2 Pet 1:20 KJV) Knowing this first, that NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION.
It is important that you know Apostles preached the revelation of Jesus Christ based upon the prophecy, and fulfillment of God’s word, through the Prophets. (2 Pet 1:21 KJV) For the PROPHECY CAME NOT in OLD TIME by the WILL OF MAN: but HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE as they were MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST. We being not ignorant know that these men could only be Holy by having the Holy Spirit.
Holy - 40. hagios, hag'-ee-os; from hagos (an awful thing) [comp. G53, H2282]; SACRED (phys. PURE, mor. BLAMELESS or religious, cer. CONSECRATED):--(most) HOLY (one, thing), SAINT.
The two witnesses are first mentioned in the book of Zechariah. These are the same olive trees that John sees in Revelation. John did not see a different revelation unto the church than what the saints of old were shown. God spoke his plan into existence and it has been unfolding every since. The book of Revelation, being the revelation of Jesus Christ, has to line up with the spiritual visions, and insight of Jesus Christ that the saints of old testified of. All of these spiritual revelations testify of Jesus Christ in both testaments. These books reveal Jesus, the Messiah and one God, from the beginning unto the end unchanged. Jesus the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.
The number two is the number of witness and testimony. (John 8:17 KJV) It is also WRITTEN IN YOUR LAW, that the TESTIMONY OF TWO men is true. (Deu 19:15 KJV) One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the MOUTH OF TWO WITNESSES, or at the mouth of THREE WITNESSES, shall the matter be established.
It is for this cause that God himself witnessed of the Son and the Son witnessed and proclaimed the name of the Father. (John 5:31 KJV) IF I BEAR WITNESS OF MYSELF, MY WITNESS IS NOT TRUE. (John 5:32 KJV) There is ANOTHER that BEARETH WITNESS OF ME, and I know that the WITNESS which HE WITNESSETH OF ME IS TRUE. (John 5:33 KJV) Ye SENT UNTO JOHN, and HE BARE WITNESS unto THE TRUTH. (John 5:34 KJV) But I receive NOT TESTIMONY FROM MAN: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. (John 5:35 KJV) He was a BURNING AND a SHINING LIGHT: and ye were willing for a SEASON to REJOICE in his light. (John 5:36 KJV) But I HAVE GREATER WITNESS than that of John: for THE WORKS which the FATHER hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, BEAR WITNESS OF ME, that the Father hath sent me. (John 5:37 KJV) And the FATHER HIMSELF, which HATH SENT ME, HATH BORNE WITNESS OF ME. Ye have NEITHER HEARD HIS VOICE at any time, nor seen his shape.
Moses was given the law. Moses, the law, and the prophets would be a witness of Christ that he was with them in the wilderness. The Apostles continually repeated the words that were prophesied by the old testament saints. The words that they spoke proved that they drank the same spiritual drink and did eat the same spiritual meat that we do. The New Testament is full of these scriptures. The law was until John and then Jesus came preaching the Kingdom of God. (Mat 11:13 KJV) For ALL the PROPHETS and the LAW PROPHESIED UNTIL JOHN.
It was important that John came in the spirit of Elijah preparing the way for Christ. (Mat 11:14 KJV) And if YE WILL RECEIVE IT, THIS IS ELIAS, WHICH WAS FOR TO COME. What was the spirit of Elijah? It was the spirit of the all consuming fire, GOD ALMIGHTY, that Elijah called down. John was a burning and shining light full of the Holy Ghost, as was Elijah. It was this spirit of the Holy Ghost (FIRE) in John that prepared the way for Jesus. It is through the word and the spirit that the temple of our God, the complete body of Christ Jesus, is being COMPLETED. Not by our power or strength through the flesh of our mind, but through the word and spirit of the living God.
Through Jesus Christ a double portion of the Holy Ghost is given to the saints under the new covenant. This double portion is given to us in the very recorded words of the prophets, and the Apostles. As these words are written upon our hearts and in our minds, under the new covenant, we receive power to overcome. How much more of a double portion did we receive when Jesus ascended than when Elijah ascended in the whirlwind? Elijah left Elisha with a double portion of the spirit that was in him. The power of the new covenant has given us twice the witness and power of the old covenant. We have more, praise God! a double portion through the new covenant (NEW TESTAMENT) and blood of Jesus Christ.
Although the blood of goats and calves was enough, through the Holy Ghost, to bring the saints of old to the cross. That blood was not enough to redeem all of mankind and remit sin once and for all. Only the blood of Jesus Christ remitted sins for his complete body. This holy body consist of the holy men of old and the new covenant saints. One church, one faith, one baptism all done by his word and spirit, in Jesus Christ and God our father.
The witnesses of Revelation have been identified as Moses and Elijah by most. As usual when it relates to the of book of Revelation, people still see it happening in the future and in the natural. They do not see this book as a spiritual vision unto the church. Revelation is symbolic containing all of the mystery of Christ Jesus and the church. This one book alone makes it impossible for the WORD to be changed.
The book of Revelation is the total spiritual summation of the books of the whole word of God (OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS). It is the full spiritual revelation of Jesus Christ given unto the saints.
Revelation continues to bless us today when spiritual discernment takes place. The book of Revelation and the testimony of the two witnesses stand strong as they testify with the same HOLY GHOST SPIRIT of Moses and Elijah. When this is revealed in full it brings us to the full stature of Christ and destroys the first Adam nature.
Moses and Elias have already witnessed that Jesus was the Messiah. (Mat 17:3 KJV) And, behold, there appeared unto them MOSES AND ELIAS talking with him. Not only did Moses and Elias appear and witness that Jesus was Messiah, but God himself spoke and told all to hear the words of his beloved son.
The testimony of Moses was the law, WORD. The testimony of Elijah was the SPIRIT of the all consuming fire (GOD ALMIGHTY). Dear saints, these two are one and the same. Just as the Old Testament saints and New Testament saints are the one church and the one body of Jesus Christ. These two are full of the same spirit and word that has built, is building, and will complete building the temple of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These are the words of God anointed by the power of the Holy Ghost going forth unto the whole world.
The ministry of Moses represented the law (WORD). The ministry of Elijah represented the (SPIRIT OF THE CONSUMING FIRE). When you recognize this, then you carry the flaming sword that keeps the way to the tree of life. Elijah said, “the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. Our God is still a God that answers by fire. He proved this when cloven tongues like as of fire set upon them on the day of Pentecost. It was prophesied by John you will be baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire. What else would Elijah say? The word and the spirit is placed within us. It is a burning flaming sword piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Praise God! it is HOLY GHOST POWER and the anointing of the word. (John 6:63 KJV) It IS THE SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: THE WORDS that I speak unto you, they ARE SPIRIT, and THEY ARE LIFE.
Understand both Moses, and Elijah were seen talking with Jesus. When Jesus was transfigured they were there with him. This happened for a reason and was symbolic for the New Testament church. All saints must fulfill the law (WORD) and receive the consuming spirit of fire. We must become the flesh and bones of Jesus through the word. Again and again the word of God is made flesh. His flesh and body dwells among men of today, but they do not know us, THE TRUE CHURCH. If they knew us then they also would know our Heavenly Father. The church and the body of Christ cannot be discerned by the carnal mind.
The Apostles all knew that the recorded written word of the old saints was true and pure. It would be by the fulfillment of the word and what it declared that would stand. The word declared that by God’s WORD and by his SPIRIT the temple would be established. Now the testimony of the pure written recorded word of the Apostles will also be fulfilled and completed. Then the end of all earthly things will come and Christ Jesus will take us home.
(Zec 4:1 KJV) And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, (Zec 4:2 KJV) And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof.
In the verse above, we have a candlestick which represents Jesus the one true great light. The bowl is a type and shadow of Jesus and how we are in him. The bowl holds the oil that flows through the pipes. Saints are pipes that sound when the Holy Ghost flows through them. The oil represents the spirit that flows in a cycle from God to the witnesses then back to God. Jesus is always in the middle or midst of the church. These olive trees are symbolic in the same manner as the cherubim’s are. The cherubim’s can only bring forth the attributes of Christ Jesus by the spirit or oil that flows through them.
(Zec 4:3 KJV) And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. Remember Zebedee's wife ask Jesus to allow her two sons to sit beside him? one to sit upon his right hand, and the other to sit upon his left hand in his kingdom. (Mat 20:21 KJV) And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. Jesus knew that it was given unto all saints represented by the two olive trees, two witnesses, two anointed ones, two cherubim’s, or the whole completed body of Christ Jesus to stand by him. Jesus has always been and always will be in the midst or heart of the church. Jesus is the wheel in the middle of the wheel.
(Zec 4:4 KJV) So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? (Zec 4:5 KJV) Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. (Zec 4:6 KJV) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is THE WORD of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by MY SPIRIT, saith the LORD of hosts.
We have the old covenant and the new covenant. Both of these covenants, made unto the saints, testify of Christ Jesus. Notice in the verses above that we are dealing with, THE WORD, and with GOD’S SPIRIT.
Zerubbabel was the governor and was of the tribe of Judah. He was a type and shadow of the supreme governor, JESUS CHRIST which was the one to come. Jesus is the governor of the Israel of God, the church. The government of the church rest now upon the shoulders of Jesus Christ. (Isa 9:6 KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the GOVERNMENT SHALL BE UPON HIS SHOULDER: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Jesus also was the branch that would build the temple made without hands. The saints of old were a witness to this. (Zec 6:12 KJV) And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and HE SHALL BUILD THE TEMPLE of the LORD.
(Zec 4:7 KJV) Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouting, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Satan, the beast, and the spiritual carnal mind of man fights against the building of the temple and the kingdom of God. The stone that was rejected is now made the headstone. This headstone is Christ Jesus.
(Zec 4:8 KJV) Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, (Zec 4:9 KJV) The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the FOUNDATION OF THIS HOUSE; his HANDS SHALL ALSO FINISH IT; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts HATH SENT ME unto you. (Zec 4:10 KJV) For who hath despised the day of small things? for they SHALL REJOICE, and shall SEE THE PLUMMET in the hand of Zerubbabel with THOSE SEVEN; THEY ARE THE EYES OF THE LORD, which RUN TO AND FRO THROUGH THE WHOLE EARTH.
The true governor, Jesus Christ, was to complete the true Israel of God (WHOLE CHURCH). Jesus knowing from the beginning and seeing all things was to unite and JOIN the saints of old WITH THE NEW TESTAMENT SAINTS. Through the new covenant and the shedding of his holy blood this was done. The gap was bridged and the old testament saints and the new testament saints were made the one temple of the living God. Believe me! this church, (THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST) is filled with the glory and power of the Holy Ghost from head to toe. Every single saint in the past, every single saint of today, and every single saint that will come are filled with the word and fiery spirit of the Holy Ghost.
The verses above are talking about the one complete building, habitation, and body of God. We know this by the mention of the spiritual seven eyes of God running to and fro in the earth. That one habitation is the church and true Israel of God. This means that all of Israel will be saved, the complete church. (Rom 11:26 KJV) And SO ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn AWAY UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB.
(Zec 4:11 KJV) Then answered I, and said unto him, WHAT ARE THESE TWO OLIVE TREES upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof ? (Zec 4:12 KJV) And I answered again, and said unto him, WHAT BE THESE TWO OLIVE BRANCHES which through the two GOLDEN PIPES empty the GOLDEN OIL out of themselves? (Zec 4:13 KJV) And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. (Zec 4:14 KJV) Then said he, THESE ARE THE TWO ANOINTED ONES, that STAND BY THE LORD OF THE WHOLE EARTH.
In the verse above anointed has the meaning and definition in the Hebrew as: 1121. ben, bane; from H1129; A SON (AS A BUILDER OF THE FAMILY NAME), in the widest sense (of lit. and fig. RELATIONSHIP, including grandson, SUBJECT, NATION, quality or condition, etc., [like H1, H251, etc.]):-- + afflicted, age, [Ahoh-] [Ammon-] [Hachmon-] [Lev-]ite, [anoint-]ed ONE, APPOINTED TO, (+) arrow, [Assyr-] [Babylon-] [Egypt-] [Grec-]ian, ONE BORN, bough, BRANCH, breed, + (young) bullock, + (young) calf, X came up in, child, colt, X common, X corn, daughter, X of first, + firstborn, foal, + very fruitful, + postage, X in, + kid, + lamb, (+) man, meet, + mighty, + nephew, old, (+) people, + rebel, + robber, X servant born, X soldier, son, + spark, + steward, + stranger, X surely, them of, + tumultuous one, + valiant[-est], whelp, worthy, young (one), youth.
These two candlesticks or olive trees are as sons that help build the family name and they stand on either side of Jesus Christ the Lord of the whole earth. They shine light and witness of Jesus Christ. They shine light into this dark world so that others can find the way. They stand on either side of Jesus lifting him up. His precious nail scared hands being held high so that the battle will be won and that all can see the price that was given. Moses had two witnesses that helped hold his hands up so that the enemies of Israel could be defeated. (Mat 5:14 KJV) Ye are THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A CITY that is SET ON AN HILL CANNOT BE HID. (Mark 4:21 KJV) And he said unto them, Is a CANDLE brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be SET ON A CANDLESTICK?
The anointed ones are branches of the great vine, Jesus Christ. The definition, in Hebrew, of these two anointed ones contain some of the attributes of the cherubim’s. Notice the man, calf and bullock being defined. Candidly stated the two witnesses are the old testament saints and the new testament saints, covering cherubim’s, the nation of Israel or the church. The two witnesses are the saints on either side of the cross. They are witnesses that the word, and that the spirit has filled the church from the beginning through the power of the living God in Jesus Christ.
Let us go to Revelation and see what John saw in his vision. Realize this is a vision that reveals Jesus Christ unto John and the church. This book contains the complete mystery of Jesus Christ and the church. To understand this book gives us the ability to have a very spiritual intimate relationship with Christ our husband. The mind of flesh will never comprehend nor enter into this relationship with Jesus Messiah.
(Rev 11:1 KJV) And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. First you must realize that John was not the only one that measured the temple of God in a vision. Ezekiel also was given this vision and was told to give the pattern of what he saw unto Israel. (Ezek 43:10 KJV) Thou son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and LET THEM MEASURE THE PATTERN. All of the things that John saw in the book of Revelation had been seen by the saints of old being revealed by the same Holy Ghost. You will see that all saints are in Christ, of Christ, and look to Christ Jesus our Lord. The word is one woven word of God that is line upon line . This same word has gone into all of the world. The last continent to receive the word was America.
The book of Revelation is being called the book of end time events. In the word itself it is called the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, and many more prophets of old saw the same things. All of these visions pointing to Jesus, his Kingdom, and the mystery of Christ and the church. To understand the Revelation of Jesus Christ you must understand the visions and testimony of the old testament saints and the new testament saints. The word (JESUS) must have the testimony of both in order to be complete. The old testament is not enough by itself and the new testament without the words of the prophets would fail miserably. Without the old saints the Apostles would have had no prophecy nor nothing to build upon. How sad, some say, that the witnesses of old did not have the Holy Ghost. The law and testament of Moses is full of the Holy Ghost. It was this witness that revealed and proved who the Messiah was. The old saints were the foundation that we, THE NEW SAINTS, are founded upon. Yet both are built and founded upon the rock Jesus Christ that was from the beginning.
(Rev 11:2 KJV) But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for IT IS GIVEN unto the Gentiles: and the HOLY CITY SHALL THEY TREAD UNDER FOOT FORTY AND TWO MONTHS. Our spirit enters into God’ rest being one with him, but the flesh of the carnal man remains without until totally destroyed. I am saying that the inner man goes into the Holiest of all, but not the outer man. Flesh and blood always remains without and cannot inherit the kingdom of God. The Holy City is the church, new Jerusalem, and body of Christ Jesus. (Rev 21:2 KJV) And I John saw the HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM, coming down from God OUT OF HEAVEN, prepared AS A BRIDE adorned for her husband. The two witnesses remain in the outer court, or streets of the Holy City being trodden down persecuted and killed. It is given to the tares, or to the Gentiles, that are among us, to torment us in the outer court. What is meant, “it is given unto the Gentiles,” they are given power to trod under the saints for time, times, an a half of time in the outer court. When we are totally purged then we receive our glorified bodies.
The tribulation period takes place during this time, times, and a half of time, or our wilderness journey. During this life or our wilderness journey we the Holy City are attacked on every side. We are circled by the nation of Gog and Magog. As Israel was surrounded by heathen nations so are we in the spiritual realm. We are surrounded by men that are Antichrist, reprobate, serving other Gods, preaching another Jesus, having the mind of flesh, and of an ungodly doctrine.
The forty two months is a time of tribulation. Most people take this in the carnal and say that the tribulation period will last three and a half years. They have missed the mark. The saints of old had a wilderness journey and we also have a wilderness journey. This journey is full of tribulation, danger, and purging. Out of the forty year wilderness journey there was only two original witnesses left, Joshua and Caleb. This is a type and shadow of the two witnesses and how that they will enter into the complete promise. That promise is eternal life in the kingdom of God with Jesus Christ as king.
Moses missed the earthly promise land but we know as a fact he is with Jesus in, “THE HEAVENLY PROMISE LAND.” Moses was seen with Jesus and so was Elijah. They both have received their glorified bodies and remain before that heavenly throne.
All of the saints of old, under the law, were Israelites in the natural and in the spirit. Now we are adopted and grafted into that same tame tree, the Israel of God, or the church. We are born again into the tribe of Judah through the blood of Jesus Christ. Our inner man enters into his spiritual rest and into the holiest of all. It is within us that the most Holy place exist now.
The outer man is nothing but an old badger skin that will be done away with. Just as the tabernacle in the wilderness was done away with. (Rom 2:28 KJV) For he is NOT A JEW, which is ONE OUTWARDLY; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: (Rom 2:29 KJV) But HE IS A JEW, which is ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS THAT OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
The outer badger skin is all that the world can see. Jesus was plain looking and not educated as the religious leaders of his day were. Most of the Apostles and the disciples were of the common people. God as a whole has not called many of the wise and highly educated scholars of science. On the outside some look holy, dressing in the badger skins, putting on a form of godliness. Inside they stink being full of the bones of dead men and abominations unto God. They are carnal and have the mind of the old man. It takes more than your covering to make you holy. The outside is important, but it is what is in the holy place (YOUR HEART) that will save you.
The Israel of God has not been replaced but continues to grow. David, Moses, Daniel and the rest of the old precious saints were not broken off and replaced. We are grafted into that tame olive tree that is full of oil and the same Holy Ghost. There is only one building, temple, habitation, and righteous seed of God. The saints of old were built upon Jesus. The church is still being completed. Brothers the saints of old are saved and in the kingdom of God. (Eph 2:21 KJV) In WHOM ALL THE BUILDING fitly framed together GROWETH UNTO AN HOLY TEMPLE in the Lord. This whole temple has the power of the Holy Ghost.
The tame tree was not without oil. The tame tree produced much oil and righteous seed. The tame tree was in the beginning in the garden of Eden. The tree of life was Jesus. Jesus is still that tree of life today, as he will always remain.
Now we are grafted into that same tree and we produced much oil though our fruit. The oil is the precious Holy Ghost. Thank God! for the saints of old and the tame olive tree that brought forth the word that was made flesh, our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ. The word that the old saints brought forth was Jesus made flesh. What oil and what fruit of the Holy Ghost this tame tree has brought forth! This tame tree has produced fruit from the beginning until now.
(Rev 11:3 KJV) And I will GIVE POWER UNTO MY TWO WITNESSES, and they SHALL PROPHESY A THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND THREESCORE DAYS, CLOTHED IN SACKCLOTH.
The testimony of the law (WORD) and (SPIRIT) comes against the Antichrist and his doctrines of another Jesus. We testify during our wilderness journey as Moses did in the wilderness through the word of God. The false doctrine vexes our spirit, grieves us, and makes us moan for the love ones who are led astray.
The word through Moses and Elijah, and John the Baptist continue to witness that Jesus Christ is Messiah. We through the hearing of the word take up the faith and the testimony of Jesus Christ. The new testament saints stand that God’s witness is true not allowing the scriptures to be wrested. True Apostolic see the unity and oneness of the witnesses stating Jesus Christ is Lord.
We as the trumpets and the vessels that contain the oil, Holy Ghost, continue the same sounding of the same doctrine. The precious saints that gave their lives to bring forth Jesus Christ, the word that was made flesh, continue to witness through us, his witnesses. (Acts 1:8 KJV) But ye SHALL RECEIVE POWER, after that the HOLY GHOST IS COME UPON YOU: and ye SHALL BE WITNESSES unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the UTTERMOST PART OF THE EARTH.
Notice in the verse above that Jesus himself said: “when the Holy Ghost HAS COME UPON YOU that we would be witnesses. ” Jesus did not say when you are filled with the Holy Ghost. Dear precious brothers forget traditional teachings and realize that they are the same.
The Lord was able to keep his word pure so that the prophesy that was spoken from his own mouth could be fulfilled. If the recorded word of the Apostles is not true, then there is no pure Apostolic doctrine being taught today. Through his pure word these Apostles still witness. We witness the same witness by preaching the same doctrine based upon the same pure word of God.
(Rev 11:4 KJV) These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. All of the saints of God are standing before the throne of the living God being judge only by him. God himself allowing all things in heaven and that are in earth to testify that our testimony of Jesus Christ is true. (1 John 5:7 KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:8 KJV) And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. All of heaven and all of the earth witness through the word (OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT) that Jesus Christ is Lord!
(1 Cor 2:15 KJV) But he that is SPIRITUAL JUDGETH ALL THINGS, yet he HIMSELF IS JUDGED OF NO MAN. (1 Cor 2:16 KJV) For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.
(Rev 11:5 KJV) And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. (Rev 11:6 KJV) These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
We have power to withhold the rain, spirit, or word from the ungodly and to call the Holy Ghost fire down to consume their lies and their ungodly doctrine of end time fantasies. This is done before the true saints so that they may choose between two opinions whom that they will serve. You have a choice between the carnal doctrines of men and the spiritual revelation of Jesus Christ. These revelations can only come by taking on the spiritual mind of Christ.
Elijah had to hide and was persecuted for three and a half years but he withheld the rain from the ungodly. This is a type and shadow of the forty two month period of, time, times, and a half of time in Revelation. The word and true spirit of God is not in the ungodly. They carry the sword of the red horseman, but it is not the flaming sword of God. An antichrist can speak the word but the true flaming fire of the true Holy Ghost is not there.
(Amos 8:11 KJV) Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a FAMINE IN THE LAND, NOT A FAMINE OF BREAD, nor a THIRST FOR WATER, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD.
Praise God! we have more than the saints of old. Amen! we have a double portion of the spirit. We have both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Saints we have the complete power of the Holy Ghost and of the witnesses. We have the complete testimony of the word. This complete word is being revealed to the Israel of God.
When the true doctrine of the witnesses is received by the saints. Then the power of the Apostles and Prophets will return unto the church. It is the false teachings of the denominations and of man’s wisdom that has weakened the faith. The power of the Holy Ghost is in the complete word. Does not God anoint through the Holy Ghost the sermons that we preach from the old testament? Then it is word and spirit and power in the Holy Ghost. A blessed witness to all that Jesus Christ is God!
It takes the complete testimony of the prophets to prove Jesus Christ as the Messiah. It takes the complete testimony of the Apostles and new testament saints to witness of the resurrection and the deeds of Jesus Christ. The witness of the new testament saints witness that the testimony of the saints of old was true. We have the complete revelation of Jesus Christ recorded to keep us and lead us into all power and all truth of the spirit.
(Rev 11:7 KJV) And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
The testimony of the witnesses is a continual thing. Stephen in the same spirit of Moses and Elijah pronounced judgment upon the ones who stoned him. When his testimony was finished he was put to death. When Paul’s testimony was finished he was put to death. When Peter’s testimony was finished he was put to death. Precious brothers what great tribulation that they suffered. (Luke 19:43 KJV) For the DAYS SHALL COME upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and COMPASS THEE ROUND, and KEEP THEE IN ON EVERY SIDE, (2 Cor 4:8 KJV) We are TROUBLED ON EVERY SIDE, yet not distressed; we ARE PERPLEXED, but not in despair; (2 Cor 7:5 KJV) For, when we were come into Macedonia, our FLESH HAD NO REST, but we were TROUBLED ON EVERY SIDE; without were fightings, WITHIN WERE FEARS.
The High Priest thought that he had killed these witnesses when Jesus was put to death. The word of Moses and the spirit of Elias through the forerunner, John the Baptist, was stopped dead. The beast or Satan surely must have been rejoicing along with the high Babylonian Priest of the Jews. The Pharisees and the Sadducees thought they had won. Jesus had been killed and war had been declared in the spiritual realm. Was Jesus dead or would the witness of the saints of old come true? (Psa 16:10 KJV) For thou wilt not LEAVE MY SOUL IN HELL; neither wilt THOU SUFFER THINE HOLY ONE TO SEE CORRUPTION.
(Rev 11:8 KJV) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
When trying to understand this verse above we must realize some things. First, these witnesses are the same witnesses that Zechariah was told about. He was told that they were the word through the spirit of God going forth. We know that this word and spirit was made flesh and dwelled among man. We know in order for Jesus Christ to be believed upon it was essential that there were witnesses to testify of his deeds. There had to be witnesses that all of the prophecy of the old saints was fulfilled by this man. If Jesus had not died and had not raised, then Jesus, the prophets of old, and the Apostles would have been liars. There would have been no faith in Jesus Christ. All of their testimony of the Messiah and the hope for all of us would not exist. Without Jesus we are nothing. I praise God that he raised from the dead and through the Prophets and the Apostles I am witness to this.
We know spiritually Jerusalem is an evil place and was compared with Sodom and Egypt. They killed Stephen after he told them of their evil ways. Jesus said that Jerusalem had always killed and persecuted the prophets. They are still antichrist, as a whole, today having the same spirit. All ungodly religions consider it the Holy Lands. They have three different Sabbath days. It is the boiling point of the whole word. Brothers it was the Promise land but not anymore. My hope is in another promise and that future is in heaven with Jesus.
We know the two candlesticks represent the church under the old covenant and the new covenant. We know that we are told in Revelation that the candlesticks represent the churches. We know that there are two types of olive trees, the tame and the wild. Praise God! we know that we the wild olive tree was grafted into the tame one. This makes it one church, one body, and one light, under the one name that is above all names, Jesus Christ.
While Jesus was dead so were the two witnesses. Would the prophecy of the saints of old come true? Would Jesus have the power to raise up the temple in three days as he prophesied? Was the words of the disciples declaring that they had found the Messiah true? Would the testimony of the ones that believed on him as Messiah stand up? All of these things were of none effect until Jesus our Lord and Savior came out of that grave. Then the olive trees, cherubim’s and saints were able to praise God again. (Rev 4:8 KJV) And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. John was seeing the full vision of things that had happened, was happening, and the things which were to come.
(Rev 11:9 KJV) And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. Here again is time, times, and a half of time. This is a time of tribulation and persecution upon the church and the witnesses, in the outer court. This is our wilderness journey in these old badger’ skins. No one entered into the promise land until the wilderness journey was finished. Joshua and Caleb kept the faith during this time and entered in.
The saints of old had their wilderness journey for time, times, and a half of time. They suffered tribulations and had many battles to fight. The new testament church is now in their wilderness journey and have suffered, and will suffer great tribulations. This will take place for time, times, and a half of a time. At the end of this time Jesus will take us home.
3 1/2 (Old Testament Saints) + 3 1/2 (New Testament Saints) = 7 = I believe this ties into the one week of Daniel.
Concerning their bodies not being buried, it is symbolic in the spiritual. All of the saints laid naked before the world, at the death of Jesus. All waited to see if their prophecy would come true. Antichrist want to torment us. They want to make us appear naked before men. In the Old Testament it was a sign of shame not to allow someone to be buried. (1 Sam 31:12 KJV) All the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.
(Rev 11:11 KJV) And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. God raised many of the saints of old when he arose. What a witness to Moses and Elijah. (Mat 27:52 KJV) And the GRAVES WERE OPENED; and MANY BODIES OF THE SAINTS WHICH SLEPT AROSE. Both witnesses have been raised to declare that Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty.
(Rev 11:12 KJV) And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
I believe these Saints of old have their glorified bodies and are with the Lord. When Jesus returns we will all be called out. He will meet the ones that remain in the air with a multitude that cannot be numbered. It will be completed and done. We will live and reign with him through eternity.
We, the New Covenant saints, have the word and go forth in the power of the spirit. Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus and we have the same witness. The olive trees are types and shadows of this in the old testament. The two cherubim’s, in Solomon’s temple, were made of olive wood that were in the Holiest of all. (1 Ki 6:23 KJV) And within the oracle he made two cherubim's of olive tree, each ten cubits high. These two cherubim’s wings touched from wall to wall and their wings also touched in the middle over the ark of the covenant. God has restored the ones in the church to be the covering cherubim’s. When we win a soul or restore a brother this fact is proved. We are covered by the wings of Jesus and as the church we shelter others. Their sins are hid or covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. (James 5:20 KJV) Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
We must enter into Christ Jesus through the veil or flesh of the body of Jesus Christ, the church is his body and his flesh. Only through preaching can this be done. Again I state that we are his flesh and all must come through that veil. (Heb 10:20 KJV) By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, THROUGH THE VEIL, that is TO SAY, HIS FLESH.
(Rom 10:14 KJV) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and HOW SHALL THEY BELIEVE IN HIM OF WHOM THEY HAVE NOT HEARD? and HOW SHALL THEY HEAR WITHOUT A PREACHER? (Rom 10:15 KJV) And HOW SHALL THEY PREACH, EXCEPT THEY BE SENT? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
In Solomon’s temple the two doors that entered into the oracle of the most Holy place were made out of olive wood. These doors had the carvings of the cherubim’s upon them. In the tabernacle in the wilderness the two curtains that were hung at the entrance of the most Holy had cherubim’s on them. These two curtains and these two doors that lead into the most Holy place represented the old testament and the new testament saints. Through them, the two witnesses, the two cherubim’s, two olive trees, covering, veil, or church we enter into Christ Jesus, the holiest of all. (1 Cor 1:21 KJV) For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
There is no doubt that the two witnesses are the old testament saints and the new testament saints. We have the same testimony because we fulfill the law and are consumed by the fire of the Holy Ghost. A fire that is shut up in our bones as it was in the bones of Elisa. (2 Ki 13:21 KJV) And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulcher of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
We have received this double portion of the spirit. Out of our belly this river flows because it comes out of our bones. We are flesh of Jesus, and bone of his bones.
John The Baptist had to be Holy Ghost filled from his mother’s womb. It was told to Zacharias he would have the spirit and power of Elias. (Luke 1:17 KJV) And he shall go before him in the SPIRIT AND POWER OF ELIAS, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to MAKE READY A PEOPLE PREPARED FOR THE LORD.
On the day of Pentecost when the new testament saints received the same baptism as the saints of old had received, in the cloud and in the Red Sea. The kingdom of God was established with the New Testament saints. It came in the spirit of Elijah with fire. If you deny the infilling of the prophets of old with the Holy Ghost you are standing on part of the foundation and not all of it. You are blind and ignorant to the word and spirit of the two witnesses. You say the tame olive tree has no oil. (1 Cor 10:1 KJV) Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; (1 Cor 10:2 KJV) And were ALL BAPTIZED unto Moses IN THE CLOUD AND IN THE SEA; (1 Cor 10:3 KJV) And DID ALL EAT THE SAME SPIRITUAL MEAT; (1 Cor 10:4 KJV) And DID ALL DRINK THE SAME SPIRITUAL DRINK: for they DRANK OF THAT SPIRITUAL ROCK that followed them: and that ROCK WAS CHRIST.
(1 Pet 1:11 KJV) Searching what, or what manner of time the SPIRIT OF CHRIST WHICH WAS IN THEM did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Men that claim to be prophets and leaders and that see the book of Revelation as only end time prophecy, are carnal without the true vision of God. Most want so much to be known for their spiritual depth that they learn their doctrine from the books of Trinitarians. Most prophecy doctrine taught in the so called Apostolic faith is a variation of the doctrines of Hal Lindsey and Clarence Larkin. They see Armageddon only as a natural battle, Cherubim's existing as natural creatures, the mark of the beast as a computer chip, the natural nation of Russia as Gog and Magog, the locust of Revelation as Apache helicopters, the great tribulation period as only three and one half years. Precious Brothers this is carnal fleshly doctrine.
Carnal minds must have the things that they can taste, smell, feel, hear, and see. If they cannot relate to it with the natural senses they cannot discern it as spiritual. It is hidden by God from them. (1 Cor 2:7 KJV) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the HIDDEN WISDOM, which God ORDAINED BEFORE THE WORLD unto our glory.
The book, of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, has been given unto many saints that have read it from the beginning of its existence. This spiritual revelation and vision of Jesus Christ has been revealed unto the true prophets of the Messiah for the last two thousand years. This revelation has help them overcome Satan in their daily walk with Jesus Christ. Blessed are the saints that keep the prophecy of this book. (Rev 1:3 KJV) BLESSED is he that READETH, and they THAT HEAR THE WORDS OF THIS PROPHECY, and KEEP THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN THEREIN: for the TIME IS AT HAND. From the time that Revelation was written until now, the time has been at hand for all saints to understand the revelation of Jesus Christ. For it is Jesus Christ himself and his spiritual kingdom that is revealed. A kingdom praise God! that is not of this world.
I honor and praise Jesus for the Holy Ghost power of the word. Thanking God that all under the old covenant, and that all under the new covenant, will finish their testimony of Jesus Christ. All witnesses to come will come in the spirit of Elijah and Moses. As they appeared with him, so will we. May God go before you and lead you into all truth, his name is Jesus!
